Vigneti del Sole is Italian for “Vineyards of the Sun”, and the vineyards in the province if Abruzzo on Italy’s central Adriatic coast are most certainly that. The Montepulciano grape thrives there, and produces wines of joyous berry fruit, like this one, that are meant to be enjoyed rather than considered. This clean and classic version of Montepulciano has a deep purple hue and juicy black fruit flavors, along with hints of peppery spice. No oak aging. 12.5% ABV dry Enjoy with grilled red meats, pasta, pizza, buurgers, medium cheeses.
